WAIVPAY is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Gallop AM to Non-Executive Chairman immediately.
Mr Gallop was previously the Chief Executive Officer and General Secretary of Football Federation Australia from 2012 to 2019 and Chief Executive Officer of the National Rugby League from 2002 to 2012. He also held senior legal roles with the National Rugby League, News Corporation (Super League) and law firm Holman Webb. Mr Gallop has served on numerous sports governing bodies, including the Australian Sports Commission, Rugby League International Federation and the Asian Football Confederation's 2015 AFC Asian Cup Local Organising Committee.
David also holds various other Directorships, including Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Tabcorp, Chairman of ASX-listed Step One Clothing Limited, Alacria Pty Ltd, a Director of Australasian Media Company Pty Ltd and is on the Board of Cricket NSW.
Mr Gallop holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts and is a Graduate Member of the AICD.
