WAIVPAY Ltd is a public unlisted company and Chaired by Stewart Rigby has been in the Prepaid industry for 20+ years, both at Blackhawk Network and Optus.
He founded and led Blackhawk Network, Asia Pac and introduced the concept of 3rd party Gift cards being sold in Retail stores in 2006 – And expanding to the Rewards, Recognition, and Incentives industries. Stewart left Blackhawk in 2018 with excess of 100 staff and turnover of US$2+ billion p.a across 8 countries in Asia Pac. Before that, as National Prepaid Director, he was instrumental in increasing Optus’ prepaid mobile market share from 15% to 53%.
He joined Waivpay as a director on July 1, 2020 and studied Marketing & Advertising in Melbourne, RMIT.
CEO & Managing Director
Chris holds the position of CEO & Managing Director of GIVV Technologies Ltd and is a significant shareholder. Chris has held numerous Senior Management and Director roles with companies such as Siemens (Telecommunications), Hutchison Whampoa (3G Implementation), Samsung (Mobile) and iTouch part of Irish Independent News and Media and listed on the exchange in London. Chris was CEO of listed ASX entity Two Way TV before sitting on the board as a Non-Executive Director for five years.
Chris is also a Non-Executive Director of Linx Card, Inc. an entity that GiVV hold a 43% equity stake in San Francisco.
Robert has over 29 years of experience in the investment banking and commercial finance markets having commenced his career with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, followed by Deutsche Bank and UBS. Robert cofounded Globex Finance, an Australia Financial Services licensee in 2002. Robert is also the Managing Director of Echidna Capital and holds Board roles on several other technology and investment companies in which he has an equity interest.
Robert graduated with a Bachelor of Business UTS, Graduate Diploma in Finance and Master’s in Applied Finance at Macquarie University. Rob Chairs the Finance and Audit committee.
Malcolm James Ashton
With over 18 years as Managing Director of a boutique property company, Malcolm carries a broad range of skills and expertise in the commercial real estate industry.
Previously Managing Director of various property investment funds, he brings a comprehensive understanding of corporate restructuring, risk management and fund raising for unlisted and listed entities. His track record demonstrates his ability to understand key business challenges and foresee emerging trends to deliver critical business outcomes.
Tom is a corporate lawyer with over 35 years of experience in corporate legal practice.
Tom was a partner of King & Wood Mallesons for over 15 years, working in the Sydney and Hong Kong offices. He specialises in corporate fundraising in both debt and equity and structured finance across various companies and asset classes, including start-up companies, fintech, non-bank lenders, real estate, debt, transport assets and infrastructure. Tom has advised funds, start-up companies, sponsors and lenders on a wide range of such matters in Australia, the United Kingdom, China and the United States.
Tom was previously the general counsel of Allco Finance Group and oversaw the development and sale of multiple projects and funds.
Tom now works in his own practice with Doorkeeper Legal. He is also a company secretary with various early-stage development companies.

Scott is a Payment professional with over 25years experience leading and developing solutions for the worlds largest businesses. As one of the founding members of the Blackhawk ASIAPAC team, Scott has held key Senior roles including Head of IT and Operations and Managing Director ASIAPAC.
Scott has helped launch major Brands with their physical and digital products around the world and he also has an innovation patent for his work with Telecommunication companies in Australia. Scott now provides advisory services for telecommunication, loyalty and rewards and retail businesses around the world.
Head of Engineering
Matt has over ten years as a software engineer, architect and team lead, starting his career in university innovation centres and more recently in the financial technology and payments market. He has managed many high profile, international projects, providing unique solutions to a number of different sectors. Matt heads up our engineering efforts and leads the delivery of the entire WAIVPAY technology stack, from back-end big data operations, our high velocity CMS and our fleet of in-store card kiosks.,

Mike Kennedy is the Managing Director of DLK and has over 35 years’ experience in Telecommunications and Financial Services. He currently sits on the advisory board of a Fintech and a Loyalty Services start-up where he assists with perspectives on business transformation and fostering innovation.
He has led several regional successful start-ups and expansion programs in the U.S and Europe throughout his career and is currently overseeing the launch a new multi-million digital telco enablement platform in the USA and Asia. As an advisor he works with a number of blue-chip clients in Australia, Asia & U.S. across Fintech and Telco.
